My Ready Box Measures 8 3/4 Inches By 8 3/4 Inches. For The Base Of My Box I Made Two Boxes One Is Outer And Other Is Inner On Which The Lid Will Sit. For The Outer Box I Cut Out 4 Pieces Measuring 8 3/4 Inches By 2 Inches From A Medium Weight Chipboard And 1 Piece Measuring 8 3/4 By 8 3/4 Inches For The Base. For The Inside Of The Box I Cut Out 4 Pieces Of Chipboard For The Sides Measuring 8 1/2 Inches By 2.5 Inches And For The Base 1 Piece Measuring 8 1/2 Inches By 8 1/2 Inches. For The Extra Strength I Also Cut Out One Piece Measuring 81/4 Inch By 8 1/4 Inch For The Inside Base.Firstly I Made The Inside Box Measuring 81/2 By 8 1/2 Inches. I Stick All The Sides And Base Using Hot Glue Gun And To Strength The Edges I Cut Out 1 1/2 Inch Of Strip And Scored It From The Center And Glue Down To All The Joined Sides And Base From Outside And Inside. Next I Took A White Card Stock And Cut Out 4 Pieces Measuring 8 1/2 Inches By 2.5 Inches And One Measuring 8 1/2 Inches By 8 1/2 Inches I Also Cut Out The Pattern Papers In The Same Measurement And Glued It Down Only Inside Side Of The Box. Now My Inside Box Is Ready. Now For The Outer Box That Measures 8 3/4 Inch By 8 3/4 Inch Stick All The Sides And Base Using Hot Glue Gun And Covered All The Joints With 1 1/2 Inch Of Strip From All The Sides. Next I Covered My Box With Green Velvet Fabric All From Outside And Some From Inside Which Will Be Visible Not The Whole Inside Otherwise The Inside Box Will Not Fit. I Glue Down The Velvet Fabric With Heavy Adhesive And Try To Take Off All The Air Bubbles. So Once My Box Is Dried I Took The Inside Box And Glue It Inside The Outer Box. Next I Cut Out Some Foam Sheet With Sweetheart Border Dies And With The Hot Glue Gun Pasted It All Around The Box From Outside I Cut Out 16 Pieces From The Foam Sheet For Sweetheart Border. Next I Took Some Lace To Cover The Joining Section Of The Sweetheart Border Using Hot Glue Gun. So My Lower Box Is Totally Ready.

Next, For The Lid I Cut Out 4 Pieces Of Chipboard Measuring 8 3/4 Inch By 1 3/4 Inch And 1 Piece Measuring 8 3/4 Inch By 8 3/4 Inch For The Top Of The Lid. For The Basic Construction Of The Lid Did The Lid, In The Same Manner, The Box Was Made.Next For Gluing The Velvet Fabric I Took Some Thin Foam Sheet That Is Used In Furniture I Covered The Top Of The Lid With The Foam Sheet And Then Glue Down The Velvet Fabric All Around The Lid

Next I Took A Piece Of Satin Ribbon In Contrast Shade And Stick It Down From Lid To The Box From One Corner Side So That I Have A Opened Standing Lid Once All Is Done I Cut Out A Piece From A White Card Stock Measuring 8 1/2 Inch By 8 1/2 Inch And Covered The Inside Of The Lid. Next I Draw A Free Hand Pocket On A Heavy Cardstock And Cut It Out And Also Cut The Same Size Flowering Dogwood Pattern Paper To Glue It On The Top Of The Pocket Piece Then Glued The Pocket Inside The Lid You Can Refer The Pics And Then Decorated The Pocket With Decorative Medallion Die Cut Which I Have Already Colored In Picked Raspberry And Also Stamped And Embossed A Butterfly And One Decorative Piece From Blushing Rose Swirls And Lastly Took The Same Lace That I Used For The Box I Pasted It Around My Whole Lid From Outside And Now My Whole Box Is Ready With Lid And A Velvet Touch.

Next Step Is To Decorate The Top Of The Lid With Foam Flowers So For The Flowers I Cut Out The Foam Sheet With Classic Rose And Flowering Dogwood Die Sets. For Coloring The Cut-Outs Of The Flower I Used Artist Soft Oil Pastels And Then Shaped Each Petal By Heating It A Little On The Iron And Immediately Shaping It With The Ball Tool From Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit And For Giving Impression On The Leaves And One Of The Flower I Used The Large Petunia Stamp Set And Flowering Dogwood Stamp Set.Then Shaped All The Flowers As Desired And Arranged My Flowers And Leafs In A Bunch And Kept It Aside. Now Next Took Butterfly Medley, Blushing Rose Swirls, Classic Rose Veins Stamp Set I Stamped All The Pieces With Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad And Heat Embossed It With Silver And Gold Embossing Powder And Colored Them With Zig Watercolor Markers But I Did Not Color The Butterflies. I Also Embossed My Wooden Embellishment With Gold Embossing Powder And Sprinkled Some Gold Glitter When It Was Still Hot And Then Put Some Heavy Amount Of Clear Adhesive On The Embellishment Coved It With  Gold Mini Prills. So Finally Glue Down The Wooden Embellishment With Hot Glue Gun Then Arranged The Leafs On Opposite Side Of The Wooden Embellishment With Hot Glue and On Top Arranged My Foam Flower Bunch And Also Added Some Fillers Around It And In The Last Sprinkled Mt Flowers With Some Sparkling Dust And Colored The Tips Of Fillers With Golden Glitter Pen.

"When buying from a 'Hand Maker' you are buying more than just an object, you are buying Hundreds of Hours of Failures and Experimentation. You are buying Days, Weeks and Months of Frustration and moments of Pure Joy. You aren't just buying a Thing, you are buying a Piece of Heart, Part of A Soul and A Moment Of Someone’s Life. Most importantly you are buying the Artist more time to do something they are Passionate About".
